Nerat Earns CTFA and Graduates Cannon Financial Institute

 

Joshua Nerat, Trust Officer at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT), recently received his Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) certification. He also graduated from Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School.

“Josh’s accomplishments truly demonstrate his commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional knowledge in order to benefit our clients,” said Greg Salmen, SNBT Executive Vice President and Trust Manager. “Not only did he earn his CTFA certification, a remarkable achievement on its own, but he also graduated from the Cannon Financial Institute. He is a key asset to our team, and we are very proud of his achievements.”

Nerat, originally from Wallace, earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from UW – Green Bay, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has over three years of experience, originally joining SNBT’s Trust Department in 2017. He is now responsible for client relationship management for client relationships including investment management accounts, IRAs, and personal trust accounts, administration of probate and trust estates, oversight of annual tax information processing for fiduciary accounts, and investment oversight including implementation and ongoing monitoring of cash and allocation. Nerat has also completed Ascensus IRA courses, American Bankers Association Administrative Duties of a Trustee training, and Pohl Consulting’s Relationship Sales Workshop.

Nerat serves community organizations such as the Faith Kids program at Faith Church in Peshtigo and practices volunteerism in the community with the M&M Thunder and organized projects at local residents’ homes. He currently resides in Peshtigo.
