DEPUTY REGISTER IN PROBATE

Assist Court Commissioner/Register in Probate’s office and public in handling estates, guardianships, trusts and involuntary commitments. Responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of court records per WI State Statutes. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma and special course work or college credits in paralegal or related field; three years experience in legal secretary, paralegal or related field; no felony convictions; insurance acceptable driver’s license; tested proficiency in Marinette County testing; final approval from Circuit Court Judges per WI State Statute 851.71. Prefer working knowledge of Probate Law. Part Time Position; 29 Hours/week. $17.81 – $20.36 per hour. Part Time Benefits Included. EOE.

MARINETTE COUNTY
ASSISTANT MEDICAL EXAMINER

Investigate and maintain records on all deaths which are considered suicidal, accidental, homicidal, unexplained, unusual, suspicious, sudden; those where a physician is not available or will not sign a death certificate; and in those deaths where cremation is to be the final disposition of the corpse. Further duties include authorizing all cremations and disinternments, screening all death certificates issued in Marinette County for compliance with final disposition and proper execution of the death certificate and receiving and recording an accurate account of all monies collected for death certificates and cremations. QUALIFICATIONS: United States citizenship; 18 years of age or older; no felony convictions in any court in US unless pardoned of conviction; high school diploma or equivalent; Death Investigation Training through the State of WI within six months of appointment; insurance acceptable driver’s license. Prefer training or experience in the Emergency Medical Technician, Nursing or related field. Part Time, On-call position. $19.68/hour, 2 hours minimum pay per call, $1.00/hour on-call pay when on call. EOE.

DEMENTIA CARE SPECIALIST

Provide support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers; educate individuals and families about options, assist with making connections to programs and services through both private and public funding, provide cognitive screening for early detection of cognitive change, assist with physician connections for diagnosis and providing evidence-based programs; engage in outreach and collaborative efforts with internal and external providers in order to increase community awareness related to dementia and advocating for consumer needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited school in health or human services field; one year of experience working in dementia field, i.e. direct care, caregiver support, support group facilitation, residential care, homecare; understand types of Dementia and its effects on individuals; insurance acceptable driver’s license; qualification under the Wisconsin Caregivers Law, Wisconsin Act 27. 40 Hours/Week. $21.54 - $24.61/hour. Develop, coordinate, implement and monitor WIC Supplemental Food/Nutrition Education Program and serve as WIC Coordinator for Marinette County; responsible for caseload management, program delivery and vendor relations; direct work to other employees during WIC clinics; participate in local coalitions as related to WIC population. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from accredited school in Dietetics field; one year experience in nutrition field; Registered Dietitian through Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) within 6 months of hire; active WI Dietitian certification within 6 months of hire; insurance acceptable driver’s license; qualify under the Wisconsin Caregivers Law, Wisconsin Act 27. 40 hours/week. $23.40 - $26.74 per hour.
