Unity Hospice Welcomes Dr. Brian Burnette to Management Committee

dr burnetteDE PERE, Wis. – Unity is proud to announce and welcome Brian L. Burnette, M.D., Green Bay Oncology Hematologist and Oncologist, as the newest addition to its Management Committee. Unity’s Management Committee functions as its Board of Directors with representatives from Unity’s three owner hospital partners, Bellin Health, HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center and HSHS St. Vincent Hospital. They provide guidance, leadership and support to Unity’s Northeast Wisconsin 13-county service area.

Dr. Burnette joins 2015 chair Larry Connors (HSHS St. Vincent Hospital) and members Tom Bayer (HSHS St. Vincent Hospital), Amy James, MD (Bellin Health), Sally Luehring (HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center), Helen Wellens, NP (Bellin Health), Jody Wilment (Bellin Health), John Rocheleau (Bellin Health) and Paul M. Pritchard, MD (Prevea Health)

Dr. Burnette is Board Certified in Hematology, Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. A native of Upper Michigan, Dr. Burnette completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Mayo Clinic after graduating at the top of his class from Michigan State. Most recently, he served as Instructor of Medicine at Mayo. He is well published and lectures internationally on cancer-related topics. Dr. Burnette resides in Green Bay with his wife, Anna, and daughter, Iris. He enjoys baseball, sailing, fishing and hunting.
