Another fun event at the Demonstration Gardens at Harmony Arboretum. Attend a demonstration on making fresh or canned salsa; taste a variety of different recipes. Marinette County UW-Extension Horticulture Agent, Scott Reuss, will be on hand to answer questions on growing the plants involved in salsa making.

River Cities Habitat for Humanity will be hosting at Menominee River Golf and Dining. Event will begin at 5:30pm, and will include a silent and live auction along with other fun events. Habitat is raising money to refurbish two homes that it owns.

September 11, and October 9: The Menominee Flea Market vendors will hold four flea markets this summer at the M&M Plaza in Menominee. The events will take place near the northeast side of the parking lot and run from 7am - 2pm. Participation fee is $15 for each flea market date and may be mailed or brought to the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce administrative office at 601 Marinette Ave, Marinette, WI. Northern Lights Master Gardeners, a non-profit volunteer organization, is sponsoring this event. Proceeds from the sale are used to enhance and expand Harmony Gardens and provide educational programs to the surrounding communities.
Harmony Arboretum is located on Marinette County Hwy E, ½ mile south of Highway 64, which is 7 miles west of Marinette or 4 miles east of Marinette County Hwy W.
